Remove the fan guard.

Check that the fan is in proper working order (the hub should turn freely without excessive play).

STEP 2

STEP 4 Check the condition of the belt. Replace it if it is worn or damaged. Install the belt.

Loosen the tension roller and remove the belt. Check that the tension roller and pulley are in proper working order (the pulley should move freely).
