BOOM LOCKING VALVES

PG02707 Located on the attachment control valve, this valve is used to immobilize the boom during road travel. See “Road travel” in the “Job Site and Road Operation” Section. The valve lever can be accessed from under the valve bank partition hood. When the valve lever is turned downwards, the boom can be moved. When the valve lever is turned upwards, the boom is immobilized.
CD99K001 If the machine is fitted with safety valves, an additional valve located on the fuel tank, should be used to immobilize the boom.
When the valve lever is turned upwards, the boom can be moved.
When the valve lever is turned downwards, the boom is immobilized. NOTE: Before starting work, turn the lever to the upward position (boom can be moved).

CD99G032 Located on the attachment control valve, this red-colored valve is used to immobilize the dipper during road travel. See “Road travel” in the “Job Site and Road Operation” Section. The valve lever can be accessed from under the valve bank partition hood. When the valve lever is turned downwards, the dipper can be moved. When the lever is turned upwards, the dipper is immobilized.

WARNING: Before driving on the road, make sure that the valve levers is in the raised position (dipper immobilized).
BUCKET/CLAMSHELL SELECTOR VALVE

When using a backhoe bucket, the valve lever must always be in position (1). When using a clamshell, the valve lever must always be in position (2). NOTE: Take the lever from the tool box, place it on the valve and turn completely in the desired direction, then remove the lever and return it to the tool box.

PH07918 Located at the top of the dipper, this valve is used when replacing a backhoe bucket by a clamshell or vice-versa.
