Kadir van Lohuizen has won numerous prizes and awards in photojournalism and is cofounder of the photo agency NOOR Images. In 2000 and 2002 he was a member of the jury for the World Press Photo Contest, and until recently he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the World Press Photo Foundation.
