Since 1955 the World Press Photo Awards are a reference in the field of documentary and press photography, the Oscars for photo journalism. Since last year, the yearly engagement with the photography lover has been captured in a new, highend edition.

The World Press Photo Foundation is a global platform connecting professionals and nonprofessionals through trustworthy visual journalism and storytelling. In the six decades since then, the contest has grown into the world's most prestigious photography competition.
