Edmund Rice Outreach Mrs Marya Stewart Director of Christian Service Edmund Rice Outreach has grown over the past year with up to 30 students involved in meetings and activities which raise awareness and give service to people in need. Under the leadership of Conor Duffin (12.4), Andrew Lim (12.1), Matthew Youens (12.2). Louis Everall (12.2) and Jarrod Hall (12.5), many students took part in the Fast for Caritas in Term One and the Winter Sleep out in Term Two.
Others volunteered for the Anzac Day Parade, Street Soccer with homeless youth, Red Cross Soup Patrol and Climb for a Smile. They also helped to promote and coordinate activities for Project Compassion, Unfair Day and the Fun Run for India. Jed Herne organized for a young man who is a refugee, living with his grandparents, to speak to the group on several occasions. Many students volunteered for Edmund Rice Camps in the January holidays to continue their Christian Service beyond the school year. The generosity and enthusiasm of students involved is without doubt a sign of the spirit of Edmund Rice at Trinity College. Mrs Marya Stewart Director of Christian Service
