Mr Mark Dodd Badminton Team Manager

This year got off to an amazing start with wins against Guilford and Scotch. There was a great feeling within the first team that this could be a very good year, especially as there had already been some outstanding performances from our newcomers to the first team, Jordan Hands (11.5), Luke Pereira (11.2) and Oliver Pemberton Oborne (12.4). Sadly, however, even with the experience and individual game winning performances from Jason Dong (11.4) and Shaun Zhu (12.3) we could only secure one more win from our remaining contests.

A big thank you to Captain Christian Hogan (12.1) for his excellent leadership over the season and to Jason Dong in his role as Vice Captain and being a great role model for the upcoming players in our second team, and also to Trung Le (11.4) for giving his all in every game.

Well done to our second team Jake Reid (11.5), Georges Yip (10.7), Morgan Williams (10.6), Matt Drew, Riley Pettitt (10.4) and Kai Hickey (10.3) who constantly kept pressure throughout the season with an eye on moving up the ladder.

I would also like to thank the 3rd and 4th teams for their consistent play throughout the season.
