Year 5 Green
Mr Gordon Dean Year 5 Green
It was wonderful having a change of scene and teaching Year 5 again after many years. We had a great start with an early camp at Forest Edge in Week 6 of Term 1.
It was a great opportunity for the boys and me to get to know each other. It also created a sense of oneness amongst the three Year 5 classes.
Boys in 5 Green were also fortunate to have Mr Luke Thompson teaching them as well.
It is always fascinating to see how much boys grow and mature over a period of ten months.
I was also very impressed with the standard and calibre of the boys who applied to be prefects. Unfortunately, there are always those who miss out but they were all worthy candidates and I’m sure that they will be excellent leaders in the Junior School.
The year can best be summed up by the boys themselves.
