Year 6 White
Mr Tony Maxfield Year 6 White
6 White 2014, Wow What a Year!
The thing that I enjoyed most about going to Trinity this year was meeting my great classmates. Mr Max is a great teacher and has taught me lots of things this year and I am grateful for that. Riley Johnson
When I first joined Trinity in Term 3 this year I was shy. Tylar and Khoosh taught me how to play handball. Then I played soccer, my winter sport with Sri. I enjoyed being able to talk to my teacher about the ANZAC Centenary and World War Two. I also loved the fluffy chickens that we hatched. Thankyou Mr Maxfield for being my role-model. Zacary Lee
I came to Trinity half way through the year. On my first day I was a bit scared, but once I got to know everyone I was fine. It was always exciting to see my new friends each day. I have to give a big thanks to Mr Max, he looked after me and made me feel really welcome. The things I improved most at are Spelling and Handwriting. Jack Georgiades
My favourite things in Year 6 were the Kalgoorlie camp and reading the Parvana series of novels. I also loved our history reading about the ANZAC Centenary and listening to the stories of the Battle of the Cocos Islands and Gallipoli. The things I most improved on this year were Athletics, History, Science, Maths and Social Studies. I have improved my knowledge thrice as much as I had. Mr Maxfield has made me a much wiser and thoughtful person. I have never felt so close to my class and teacher before. Sri Dharmapuri
My favourite thing I did in 6 white in 2014 was the Parvana series of novels for reading and hatching our chickens. I think I have improved in all my subjects. Rowan Frankowiak

This year in 6 White for Science we were able to design and make balloon popping machines. We also hatched and cared for baby chickens in class. We went to Dwellingup for a leadership retreat and went to Kalgoorlie for camp. We also learned much about Australian history and researched war stories for Australia’s Centenary of World War 1. Thank you Mr Max for an amazing year. Tylar Tran.
The thing I enjoyed most was the Kalgoorlie Camp. I loved going prospecting and finding GOLD! Thanks Mr Maxfield for always being there for us. Kristian Little
Before Year 6 I was sitting home when my dad gave me a letter. It said that I was in Mr Maxfield’s class. It would not have been my first choice. I was wrong. Mr Maxfield has prepared me for high school and taught me much this year. On the first day of Year 6 he told us that we would learn a bit from our school books, but three times as much about life. Mr Max’s history lessons were a bit long but he really believes that we can all improve. Thanks Mr Max. Lucas Arvino
This year in 6 White has been my best year at Trinity. Thank you Mr Max for all the great Maths lessons, science, Kalgoorlie Camp and excursions. Thank you for the great year and preparing us for Year 7. Julian Giacoppo.
I think that Mr Max has been a great teacher all year. He taught me a lot about ANZAC Day, Science and Australian history. Thanks Mr Max. Kieran Theseira
My favourite part of Year 6 was the Kalgoorlie camp. We learned so much about WA’s gold rushes and the history of mining in many towns. I also really enjoyed hatching and looking after the chicks in Science. This year I improved most in my Maths and History. Harrison Hamlyn.
This year was great! I loved learning about history and the way Mr Max explained many historical events. Mr Max’s history lessons were sometimes a bit long but very interesting. I also loved our class chickens and science lessons. Thanks Mr Max. Ben Jasper.
This year I really enjoyed the Kalgoorlie camp and our class History and Science lessons. Mr Max was very wise and I am sure I will miss him next year. This year I have improved my handwriting, story writing, spelling and maths. Thank you again Mr Max. Julian Raschilla
This year Mr Max told us lots of amazing facts about everything. I loved going to all the camps and learned a lot. I have improved my reading, spelling and writing. Thanks Mr Max. Ethan Regan.
Thank you to Mr Max for all the opportunities he gave me this year. We had two camps, chicken hatching, balloon popping machines and all the awesome history lessons. I have become a more confident student in my work and talking to other people. I think I will definitely survive Year 7. Willem Lamers
Being in 6 White this year was so much fun. Thanks for the history lessons, excursions, the chickens and the camps. I have learned so much this year and would just like to say a big thankyou to Mr Maxfield. You have been the best teacher and it has been my best year. Finn Moloney.
Thanks to Mr Max I am now finding reading a blast. I would also like to thank him for all the other wonderful things that we have done this year like Science balloon popping machines, excursions, and all of your fascinating history lessons. Max Ryan I loved the time when we hatched the chicks. I got to name one, Chicky-Chan! It was sad when Chick Benedict died and Chicky-Chan left our class for his new home, but I am glad that I experienced it. Thanks Mr Max. Jonah Bosio
My favourite thing about Year 6 was when we designed and made balloon popping machines. Next was the Kalgoorlie camp where we went panning for gold and I found some. Ted Lane
