Year 6 Green Mr Andrew Hayes Year 6 Green What a great year! It has been a busy and brilliant year in 6 Green and I congratulate all the boys on their hard work – some brilliant learning has been achieved. A smorgasbord of interesting experiences has helped make this year very memorable and there have been lots of comedic moments along the way. With so many diverse learning experiences and events occurring throughout it really is hard to pick a favourite memory, so here is a selection of our favourite memories of the year.

Memoirs of the year by 6 Green Definitely attending three camps this year at Dwellingup, Kalgoorlie and the Astronomy Camp here at school have been great highlights. They were all amazing in their own way. Alexander Bradley The sports carnival was great fun as we competed against our mates and created some funny songs to cheer on our teams. Caleb Lai Completing in interschool basketball and football has been excellent. It was great to make lots of new friends and score a few goals! Benjamin Petrich At the Kalgoorlie camp, I really enjoyed learning all about the history of gold and I even found some! It was also nice to have a break from my brother and sister. Eureka!! Caelan Foti I liked meeting with the Golden Heritage Club members and hearing their interesting stories of what school was like in the past. It definitely seems better these days. Daniel Santelli This year has been brilliant and it was lots of fun being in Mr Hayes’ class. However, his jokes were needing a bit of work at times. Oscar Steegstra This year was full of adventures and surprises. One of my favourite moments was when I brought in my guinea pigs and rabbit to show the class. I showed how to take care of them and everyone loved it. Nicholas Croll It has been a brilliant year in 6 Green. Playing sport and going on camps have been the highlights; however, listening to Mr Hayes’ bad puns has been a challenge. Jojo Parise This year has been full of exciting experiences. I particularly enjoyed learning about spies and reading our class novel, Stormbreaker. I even created my own spy gadget. Luke Gratoggi 118
