Location California is a state in the southwest of the USA. It has the largest state population in the USA. It is the third largest state in size and borders the Pacific Ocean. The state has different landscapes with deserts, mountains, beaches and farmland. In the past, the state was a part of Mexico and today Spanish is the second most spoken language after English.
