Baseball: America’s Favourite Sport More people attend baseball games than any other sport in the USA. Reporter: Tell me, guys, why do Americans love baseball so much? Carol: I think it is because everybody can play baseball. Boys and girls can play on the same team, even. In baseball, you can be small or tall, skinny or heavy, because there are so many different positions. If you aren’t good at hitting the ball, you may be great at pitching it and getting people out. Jason: If you can’t throw good balls, you might be terrific at catching them out in the field.
