Year 6 Green Mr Andrew Hayes Year 6 Green Wow! What a great year in 6 Green. There has been lots of fun and brilliant learning. With high standards and hard work underpinning the curriculum it has been a very productive year. It sure was a busy year but the boys took it all in their stride. I am sad to see this fine group of young men move on. Camps to Dwellingup and Kalgoorlie provided excellent opportunities for discovery, learning and excitement. Also our Asia Expo and spy gadget projects and Genius Hour were a real highlight and a chance to see some amazing creativity. The class has endured my questionable puns – thanks for that, boys. They truly became young Men for Others this year through their generosity which was epitomised by their visits to Archbishop Goody Hostel. The year has passed too quickly. Good luck boys, it has been a pleasure! Mr Andrew Hayes Year 6 Green
What a year it has been! I have had a great year in 6 Green. There are so many excellent memories especially the Asia Projects – it was interesting learning all about Japan. Joe Macri I have had a truly excellent year. A real honour, this year, was being a Prefect, which I loved. Harley Jennings My favourite part of the year was learning a whole lot more about Asia. When I discovered a new writing style called onomatopoeia – BOOM! My writing style changed forever. Mr Hayes’ puns were very ummm….well??? Best Year Ever! Edward Drew With a squeak of the door I walked into the best classroom ever to see a welcoming smiling Mr Hayes. He taught me how to deliver a pun correctly. Learning about Asia was great fun. Kalgoorlie was a blast and Stormbreaker opened my eyes to a world unknown. A great class with a great teacher to finish off my Junior School experience. Coen Agate It’s very hard to capture a whole year in a few words but my favourite moment of all is definitely the time when we did our Asia Expos. The new cultures, food, music – WOW! Come to South Korea. Dante Holdsworth
