Year 6 Blue
Mr Bernard Le Tessier Year 6 Blue
Another year in the life of a TC Year 6 Blue student has passed and again it has been packed with camps, excursions, activities and learning. Seeing the ways the boys display care for each other and work together to achieve their individual, group and team goals is always very rewarding. Year 6 is a special time in the school life of a TC boy, as it is their first opportunity they have to display their leadership qualities, as they carry out their various roles as prefects, sports and cultural captains. Another important role the boys undertake is to act as mentor buddies to the incoming Year 4 classes. I am sure all the boys from the Junior School will look back fondly on their time spent here and I will follow their progress through the College with interest. The boys have recorded some of the reflections from their time spent at the Junior School.

The Trinity College kids cheer as they are having the greatest day of the year, Unfair Day! The day when it is all about raising money for others!”Sam Zimmermann
Go! The Athletics Carnival was a rough and tough day: sweaty and peachy faces proved that. Xavier was victorious after tough opposition from Campion. All factions had fun. Carlos Torre
Memories can be as precious as life. The memory I want to cherish most is the Junior School community, with all its great teachers and staff. If we didn’t have them, school wouldn’t have been so fun. Rafael Sitorus
Parp! I hear the trumpet below, I am in the Year 6 band and we are playing the theme from Jurassic Park. We had been awaiting the music for weeks. We are definitely getting better. Tom Devine
Finally, after seven hours of waiting in a moving box, we arrived at Kalgoorlie – it was worth it. Kalgoorlie camp was a buzz of activity: there was gold-pounding, the Super Pit, Coolgardie and the town halls. Benjamin Oatham
GOOAL!!! For the past two years at TC we have been playing JPSA sport on Thursdays. I played tennis and soccer. The ‘A’ soccer team became State champions. Liam Santoro

Mr Lamborn has a very unique sense of humour. Art is one of the best subjects in the world. Some of the best products we made were the masks, kite fish, and Japanese calligraphy. Noah McDonald
The most inspirational part of Trinity was the first camp to Forest Edge. It was an amazing time. The best part was when we went on the zip line – it was fun but a bit scary. Ashton Jones
Beep! The starter’s speaker sounds as the swimmers hit the water like bullets. Inter-school swimming was a fun and challenging event. It’s something I really look forward to in high school. Samuel Thorpe
Brrr! The siren goes and one of the best things in the Junior School was playing in two close Ian MacRae Cup football games and captaining one of them. Sadly, we lost. Jedd Busslinger
It’s bounce-down! At Trinity I have done many fun things especially playing footy. I’ve played in the A grade for two years. This year, our team played very well winning five games. Preston Campbell
Click! The light went on. At the end of every year we all perform for our parents and get awards. This is my favourite part of the year. Performing and watching other people perform. It’s really fun and enjoyable and this is one of the reasons I like Trinity. Callum Lee
Goaaal! One of my favourite things at TC was the State soccer carnival because we played all the way to the final and we ended up winning it! It was a tough competition. Brandon Condo
Gobble, Gobble, Gobble! From turkeys to geese to chickens – the farm incursion had it all. It was awesome! However, it was filled with strange farm puns. Most of which, were absolutely hilarious. Aidan Dean

We are on in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0! Nerves are kicking in for my first day at school. I only know a few kids – that was two years ago. Now I have so many friends at school and from PSA sports. The whole three years that I have been here has been really fun. Leon Scurria
Learning about Asia was fun. Getting to make stalls and learning about the different countries in Asia and tasting all the marvellous food is what I enjoyed. My favourite thing was making the posters for the stalls. Jack Hudston
Whack! A Christ Church boy shoots – crack – it hits Callum’s goalie pad. This is what happens every week for the TC hockey team. We did not win a game but we scored a few goals and we all had fun. Oliver Cranny
He shoots – he scores! We’re down by two – can we win? My highlight of being in the Junior School was playing in the State basketball competition in Year 5. We tried our best but we just lost the grand final. Zach Brennan
