Air Conditioning System (Cabin) Tips on Using Air-Conditioning Preventing the windows from fogging up 1) During the day: Do not blow cold air at the windshield. If you feel too cool with air-conditioning at "max. cool": o Keep the fan running. o Turn the cooling control to a counter clockwise. o Leave the air-conditioning ON. Before you stop the tractor: o Switch OFF the air-conditioning. o Keep the fan running for a couple of minutes to dry the evaporator core. 2) In the morning (If AC was in use the day before) Before you start the tractor o Ensure blowers are in OFF mode. o AC is in OFF mode. Start the tractor o Switch ON the blowers and keep them running for a couple of minute. o Switch ON AC and set the regulator as per the operator's comfort. Maintaining the Air Conditioning System Your vehicle’s air-conditioning is a closed system. Any major maintenance, such as recharging should be done by a qualified technician. However, you can do a few things by yourself to make sure the air-conditioning works efficiently. Run the air-conditioning system at least once a week during the cold weather months. Run it for at least ten minutes with the engine running at normal operating speed. This circulates the lubricating oil contained in the circuit. NOTE: The condenser and radiator fins of the air conditioning system bend / damage easily. Use only a low-pressure spray or soft-bristle brush to clean them. Heating Mode

NOTE: First check that the condensation drain is not blocked. If your tractor has been parked in the hot sun with the windows closed, open the door / window for few minutes. This will help to vent hot air out and allowing the air conditioner to cool the interior quickly. Air conditioner extracts humidity from cooled air. Therefore it is completely normal if a small pool of water forms underneath your parked tractor. Make sure that the air intake grills in the windshield areas are not blocked (with leaves, ice/snow etc.) The air conditioner should be operated for a few minutes atleast once a week. This helps prevent damage to the system due to lack of lubrication.

Refrigerant: The air-conditioning system for your tractors operates using R134a refrigerant (Tetrafluorethane), Capacity of refrigerant:1000 gr.

Whenever you get the air-conditioning system serviced, make sure the service facility uses a refrigerant recycling system. This system captures the refrigerant for reuse. Releasing the refrigerant into the atmosphere may cause damage to the environment.

Use only ND-8 oil for AC Compressor.

Heating mode is turned ON by rotating the heater control in clockwise direction. Set the knob as per operator's comfort. Use fresh air mode during heating operation which will help to avoid suffocation. AC louvers (rectangular) can be turned towards windshield to defog them. AC louvers (circular) can be diverted towards the door to defog them. NOTE: Ensure air condition switch in OFF mode during the heating mode condition. Heater and AC are in OFF condition when regulators are placed at minimum position. 8000 Series, Models - 8090/8100 4WD CAB TIER-4 Final

In heating mode, taking air flow directly on body or face is not safe and operator may feel suffocated.

Do not run air simultaneously.
