Low Oil Pressure Indicator

This is a Red LED and glows when the engine is operating at Low oil pressure. & also to warn the operator, a beeper will also give an audio warning.

This indicator will also glow when the Key is in ON position before starting the engine and continue to glow till engine oil pressure builds up after starting the engine.

Continued operation of engine despite the low oil pressure indicator glowing may lead to engine seizure.

Battery Charging Indicator

This is a Red LED and glows when the battery is not getting charged. Also this LED will glow during ignition ON and should go OFF immediately after engine rpm reaches 850 rpm.

SCR Tampering Indicator

This LED will glow when there is some tampering or removal of of SCR system components like wiring harness, NOx sensor, ETS, HCU, Dosing module, etc.

Contact your authorized Mahindra Service Dealer for detailed diagnosis if the problem persists.

Parking Brake Indicator

This is a Red LED and glows when the Parking Brake is applied.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Quality and Low Level Indicator

Sensors are arranged inside the DEF tank to detect the quality and quantity of the DEF. This is a dual color LED (Yellow/Red).

a. When glows Red, it indicates that the DEF quality is poor (Improper concentration or contamination in the DEF tank).

In such case, the operator has to drain the DEF from the tank, clean the DEF tank and refill recommended DEF in tank. If the problem persists even after replacing DEF with right quality DEF, contact nearest Mahindra Service Centre.

b.When glows Yellow, it indicates that the level of DEF present in the DEF tank is low.

In such cases, the operator has to refill the recommended DEF to the tank max level as indicated in the level indicator on the DEF tank.

During engine running, if this LED glows it means Battery is not getting charged. A beeper will also give an audio warning in such case.

Continued operation of engine despite the contaminated fluid may lead to reduction in torque and engine power low.

Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge

The temperature gauge is displayed on the right side of instrument panel when viewed from the driver’s seat. This gauge indicates coolant temperature of the engine.

The pointer on red line indicates the engine coolant temperature is high. A beeper beeps at 60 beeps/min when coolant temperature is high.

Identify the cause by running the engine at low idle rpm for some time before switching OFF.

Further engine operation should be done only after elimination of the problem.

High temperature indication will blink (30 cycles / min) at 2300 F and switch off at 226.40 F.

High temperature Buzzer will give 60 beep / min at 2300 F and switch off at 226.40 F.

Engine Stop Indicator

This red color LED will glow to indicate the operator to shut down the engine. This lamp will glow when operator ignores earlier warnings on Poor DEF Quality, Low DEF Level, SCR tampering and MIL.

4WD Indicator

This is a Green LED and glows when 4WD is engaged. This LED will glow only in 4WD tractor version.

Exhaust Temperature Indicator

This Red color LED will glow when exhaust temperature goes beyond a specific limit. Operator should stop the tractor and wait until the indicator goes off. This indicator will glow if the feature is equipped.

1000 RPM PTO Indicator

This indicator glows when PTO shaft is revolving at 1000 RPM.

This indicator will glow if the feature is equipped.

Transmission Oil Pressure Indicator

This is a Red LED and glows when the oil pressure lower than specified limit in transmission and beeper will also give an audio warning.

Check Engine Indicator

This indicator will glow when the malfunction other than Emission, such as Sensor failures would be indicated by a continuously "GLOWING" or "BLINKING" Indicator, even past CRANKING of the engine. In such an event, get the problem rectified by an authorized Mahindra Dealer.
