If the tractor is intended for nonoperation for long time (more than a month) it is recommended to fill DEF to the max level as indicated by the DEF tank level indicator on the tank. This ensures SM filter is always immersed in the DEF liquid irrespective of any evaporation during storage. If the shutdown period (non operation) period is within 6 months, DEF quality to be checked before using the tractors. If the DEF quality is not ok, DEF to be replaced with right quality DEF for further usage of tractor. If the shutdown period is more than 6 months irrespective of DEF concentration, it is highly recommended to replace the DEF and perform SCR routine test at authorized Mahindra dealer.
11To prevent crystal formation inside the Supply Module Filter due to DEF evaporation during long storage.
✔ Indicates activity to be carried out at these intervals.
❃ To be done whenever tractor is not in use for a long period of time i.e. more than 45 days.
