Working with the machine
Setting the stanchion cylinder shut-down: Danger! There is a risk that the equipment may come too close to the cab due to: – A work tool oscillating (e.g. grab) due to different dimensions of the work tool when opened and closed. – A delay in the shut-down process. Depending on the oil temperature and equipment type, the shut-off distance can be extended by up to 0.5 m. A minimum safety distance of at least 1.0 m to the danger object should be maintained. The machine operator is responsible for entering the correct settings! Take this into account when setting the stanchion cylinder shut-down.

Cut-off point
For machines with a height adjustable cab, move the cab to its most forward projecting position (see Fig. 3-61). Move the equipment (boom) up as far as possible. Carefully retract industrial stanchion with appropriate attachment (grab etc.) until the required position is reached.
