To unlock the door lock: The door is secured in lock 2

Move lever 4 next to the cab frame outwards. The door is now unlocked. Close the doors.

3.2.2Adjusting the cab

The height of the cab is fully adjustable.

Danger!

There is a risk of accident and injury with a raised cab if the route is not clear of obstacles or has a gradient. The stability of the machine could be affected. Do not drive the machine with a raised cab if there are obstacles or gradients on the route.

Only adjust the cab when the machine is stationary. Ensure there are no persons within the danger zone around the machine when carrying out cab adjustments.

Adjusting the height of the cab

Raise the cab using control lever 12. The machine is ready for operation. The safety lever is pushed down. The engine is running.

Push control lever 12 backwards a The cab moves upwards as long as the control lever is being pressed.

Push control lever 12 forwards b The cab moves downwards as long as the control lever is being pressed.

3.2.3Lowering the cab in emergencies

An emergency cab lowering function is provided in case the controls of the heightadjustable cab fail as a result of a fault in the diesel engine or due to another defect. There are two ways to lower the cab in an emergency:

Emergency cab lowering control inside the cab: Press and hold button S78

The cab will be lowered as long as the button is pressed.

Emergency cab lowering control outside the cab:

There is a facility to lower the cab on the outside using emergency lowering valve Y204. It is accessed by opening the side doors on the lifting frame. Screw in the handle of emergency lowering valve Y204 until the cab sinks down.

Note!

After the cab has been lowered, make sure that the handle of the emergency lowering valve is turned back to the starting position.

3.2.4Safety lever

For safety purposes, the left-hand control desk is provided with a safety lever.
