Operating and control elements
S46 - Magnetic system*
Press switch down. Magnetic system is activated. Indicator light in the switch illuminates. Press switch up. Magnetic system is deactivated. Indicator light in the switch goes out.
S47 – Hydraulic quick-change adapter*
Press and hold button down. The hydraulic quick-change adapter is activated. Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
Release the button.
The hydraulic quick-change adapter is deactivated. Indicator light in the switch goes out.
S61 – Driving light
This switch has three settings: Neutral (0), Position 1 and 2. Push the switch down to position 1 (centre position). Sidelight is activated.
Push the switch down to position 2 (final position). Driving light is activated.
The switch can also function if the ignition key is in position 0 or P.
S204 - S207 – Individual control, claws*
Press the switch.
The corresponding outrigger is activated. Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
Press switch again. The corresponding outrigger is deactivated. Indicator light in the switch goes out.
S216 -- Bypassing stanchion cylinder shut-down*
Press and hold button down.
Stanchion cylinder shut-down is bypassed. Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
Release the button.
Stanchion cylinder shut-down returns to its original function. Indicator light in the switch goes out.
S218 – Windscreen wiper on cab roof (green)
This switch has three settings: Neutral (0), Position 1 and 2. Push the switch down to position 1 (centre position). Continuous operation is activated.
Push the switch down to position 2 and hold (final position). Washing water will be sprayed on the windscreen. The windscreen washer runs continuously.
S241 – Auxiliary consumer (green)*
This switch has three settings: Neutral (0), Position 1 and 2. Push the switch down to position 1 (centre position).
The high pressure auxiliary consumer (eg. sorting grab, scrap cutter) is activated.
Indicator light H196 illuminates.
Push the switch down to position 2 (final position).
The reduced pressure auxiliary consumer (eg. hydraulic hammer, ram) is activated.
Indicator light H196 goes out. Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
S318 - Air-conditioning system (green)*
Press switch down.
The air-conditioning system is switched on. Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
Press switch up.
The air-conditioning system is switched off. Indicator light in the switch goes out.
S335 - Shield support (green)
Press the switch.
Shield support is activated. Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
S360 – Acknowledge quick-changer buzzer (green)*
The button is available if the machine is equipped with an overload warning device. Press switch down.
The quick-change adapter buzzer is deactivated.
S398 – Reversing switch (green)*
Press switch down.
The air flow will be transferred from outlet nozzles 8c (head area) to outlet nozzles 8a (foot area) and 8b (windscreen). Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
Press switch up.
The air flow will be transferred from outlet nozzles 8a (foot area) and 8b (windscreen) to outlet nozzles 8c (head area). Indicator light in the switch goes out.
S422 - Radio mute
Press switch down. The radio is muted Indicator light in the switch illuminates.
Press switch up. Radio plays again at original volume. Indicator light in the switch goes out.
3.2Operation
3.2.1Entering or leaving the cab
Getting in, getting out:
Caution!
Entering or leaving the cab incorrectly can result in injury. Ensure that the safety lever is always in the upper position when entering or leaving the cab.
Always use the climbing aids provided when entering or leaving the machine. Do not use operating elements as hand-grips. Never jump out of the machine.
Swivel the superstructure using steering axle A by about 45° to the right, and get in/out using front step 1 and treads 2 or swivel the superstructure by 180° (using rigid axle B). The cab will be above the rigid axle. Climb in/out using the side steps 3
Climbing into the cab
Press door lock 11 on door handle 1 and the doors open.
If the doors are to stay open while working, push the doors back 180° to the rear and secure in lock 2.
Climb in with your face turned towards the machine and sit down on the operator’s seat.
Adjust the seat and steering column if necessary.
Climbing out of the machine:
Switch off the machine and push the safety lever up. Push the door handle 3 on the door lock down. Open the doors fully and secure in the lock 2
Climb out with your face turned towards the machine.
