3.2.5.3Adjusting the horizontal seat position

Pull up the lever 1 to push the operator's seat in the horizontal direction. Pull up the lever 2 to push the operator's seat including the control panels in the horizontal direction.

Use the turning knob 5 to adjust the seat suspension to match the body weight.

3.2.5.5Adjustments on switch arrangement (air- cushioned operator’s seat, option)

To adjust the vibration damper: Press button 5 (+ or -) and set the vibration system according to body weight.

To adjust the lumbar support: Press button 6 (+ or -) to inflate or deflate the lower lumbar chamber. Press button 7 (+ or -) to inflate or deflate the upper lumbar chamber.

To turn on the seat heater: Use switch 8 to turn the seat heater on or off. The seat heater turns off automatically when the proper temperature is reached.

3.2.5.6Putting on / releasing the safety belt

The safety belt is automatic. It is not necessary to adjust the length of the belt. Pull the belt and buckle 2 from the roller mount 1 If pulled out of the roller mount jerky, the belt may lock. Push the buckle into the belt lock 3 until it is properly engaged.

Danger!

The safety belt is designed to protect the operator.

Before starting the machine, always fasten the safety belt. Ensure that the safety belt is not twisted when it is fastened.

To ensure your safety, check the condition, function and fastening of the belt regularly and replace any damaged parts immediately.

To open the lock 4, push the belt lock down using your thumb. The safety belt will slide automatically back into the roller mount 1.

3.2.5.7Vibration damper

The seat complies with ISO 7096. If the machine is used in accordance with regulations, the values of the vibration damper transferred by the operator’s seat are less than or equal to the tested excitation vibration for the relevant machine class in accordance with ISO 7096.

The values for vibration accelerations a zw, measured in accordance with ISO 26311, therefore comply with the requirements for protection against whole body vibration according to EN 474-1.

3.2.6Adjusting the steering column

By adjusting the steering column, the position of the steering wheel to the body can be set.

Press the release lever 2 down with the foot. Set the desired position by pulling or pushing the steering wheel. Take the foot off the release lever 2; the steering column is locked in the desired position.

3.2.7Front windshield

The front windshield can be locked in two positions. –Position a: Window closed. –Position b: Window fully opened (locked in place on the roof of the cab). Pull pin 1 in and down. The window is unlocked. Move the windshield with bracket 2, secure in one of the two window positions (a or b) and relock with the pin 1

3.2.8Sun visor

The cab is provided with two sun visors on the front windshield and on the window pane in the cab roof.

Pull the sun visor down on the cross bar 1. The sun visor can be adjusted as desired. Press button 2 (red). The sun visor rolls up by itself.
