Using switch S241 select a suitable operating mode.

Push down foot pedal k: Boom adjusting cylinder will be extended, in other words the equipment moves up.

Scrap cutter or sorting grab will be closed.

- or -

Hydraulic hammer will be activated.

Push down foot pedal m: Boom adjusting cylinder will be extended, in other words the equipment moves up.

- or -

Scrap cutter or sorting grab will be opened.

3.4.11Magnet system (optional extra)

With a magnet system, optional equipment such as magnets for scrap handling can be operated. The magnet system is activated via switch S46. It is operated via a push button in the right joystick 3

Press switch S46 down.

Indicator light in the switch illuminates. Magnet system is activated. Automatic idling S20 no longer functions. If the engine RPM is too low for operating the magnet, then RPM will be automatically increased.

The engine RPM cannot be reduced while operating the magnet.

Danger!

The magnet can lose its load in the event of a loss of current. Always ensure that no-one is standing beneath the load. Do not press pushbutton S6L unintentionally.

Press pushbutton S6L

The magnet is activated. Press left-hand pushbutton S6Lagain. The magnet is no longer activated. Press switch S46 up.

Indicator light in the switch goes out. Magnet system is switched off.

3.4.12Stanchion cylinder shut-down (Optional extra)

Working with the stanchion cylinder shut-down:

The movements of an industrial boom cover considerable heights and breadths. During movements with the suspended load, the industrial stanchion can get in the vicinity of the cab.

If the operator does not take due care, this could be dangerous for the operator himself and the cab.

To prevent this happening, the movement area when retracting the industrial stanchion is limited by a limit switch.

Caution!

Risk of damage! The machine could sway! Avoid moving the industrial stanchion quickly when moving it in the vicinity of the cut-off point.

Bypassing stanchion cylinder shut-down:

If the industrial stanchion is to be moved beyond the cut-off point, the stanchion cylinder shut-down can be bypassed.

Danger!

Risk of injury and of damage! Bypassing the stanchion cylinder shut-down creates the danger of the equipment getting too close to the cab.

The stanchion cylinder shut-down can be bypassed using switch S216

Press and hold switch S216 Indicator light in the switch illuminates. Stanchion cylinder shut-down is bypassed. The industrial stanchion can be extended beyond the shut-down point into the barred zone.
