A highly committed team led by three project managers answered the call and achieved delivery success despite major challenges. The passion, sacrifice and discipline of the team was outstanding and having the right people and design partners facilitated this. The project comprised many subcontractors, designers and other partners, led by BPC. It therefore demonstrated the absolute criticality

of establishing clear norms of behaviour via a well-conceived Project Charter. The ripple effect across the project was immediate. The client commented on “Management’s keen eye for detail, willingness to get things right and clear desire to leave the Employer a product that the whole team could be proud of”. Broader outcomes also flourished. From graduate engineers to builders and subcontractors bringing in their own apprentices for training, young careers and proven experience came together successfully to deliver on time and on budget.
