CB is a learning organisation and our approach to training starts with our identity, Te Whare Whanui – The House of Learning. All staff are supported to take on some form of formal training and upskilling, we then wrap around the learning pathway to ensure they succeed.

From here we work through milestones one at a time both onsite and offsite towards reaching their objective. Our senior leadership team view this as a legacy project, not only for the business, but also for the community and industry. The success of our people is the success of CB. Our goal is simple. We want to grow and develop a more skilled workforce to achieve our performance targets as a business, and to contribute to a more educated and professional culture within our industry. This will enrich our communities in many ways, both in achieving better outcomes in construction and in enhancing the quality of life of our Whanau.
