Dear Msgr Valent, Dear Msgr Valent,
Greetings of peace and joy to you in the Lord.
Greetings from Malawi, in particular, Karonga. We have finished the house of Grace. She’s very grateful to Missio Malta and the benefactors. We had not planned for the pitlatrine (toilet) and bathroom, but we found it necessary, that is why we had to construct it for her. We are very sorry that this time we were a bit slow, it was because we were hit hard by the third wave of COVID‑19. We are always grateful to you, Missio Malta and all the benefactors for your support. This makes us feel the universality of the Catholic Church and most importantly, the merciful love of Jesus in a concrete and real way.
I am very happy that the General Ordinary Subsidy sent by Missio Malta has been received by the Apostolic Nunciature in India and it will be sent to the seminary. On behalf of the staff and the seminarians, I sincerely thank you and all the collaborators of Missio Malta for the marvellous contribution made towards the grant for the maintenance of the seminary.
May God bless you. Father Joseph Sikwese St Martin De Porres Parish Priest, MALAWI 12
