Accessing the Reprogramming Function 1. Select Reprogram from the main menu bar. NOTE: • You must be connected to a transmission in order to display the Reprogramming screen. If you are playing back snapshots or using a DEMO file, the reprogramming menu is disabled. • If you are connected to a transmission and the Reprogramming menu option is disabled (grayed-out), it means that you have not enabled or authorized this section in the tool. Refer to section 4-1 for more information on how to enable this section in the tool. a. If the TCM/ECU password was changed from its defaulted values (i.e. eight zeros “00000000” or “Allison_”) the TCM/ECU Password dialog box displays.
