• Not Available—Indicates that the ECU software level either does not support SEM, or is unable to report SEM information to the diagnostic tool. • 1 (Enabled, inactive)—Indicates that SEM is enabled, but it is currently not used. • 3 (Autodetect in progress)—Indicates that the ECU is still performing the autodetect tests to determine the SEM enabling status in current configuration. • 9 (Complete, no SEM)—Indicates that the Autodetect process has been completed, and conditions are not the required to enable SEM. • 13 (Complete, SEM active)—Indicates that the Autodetect process has been completed, and SEM is enabled/active. • X (Unknown)—Indicates that currently the ECU does not know the status of SEM information. “X” could be any number different from 1, 3, 9, and 13.
