Accessing the Reprogramming Function
1. Select Reprogram from the main menu bar.
NOTE:
• You must be connected to a transmission in order to display the
Reprogramming screen. If you are playing back snapshots or using a DEMO file, the reprogramming menu is disabled. • If you are connected to a transmission and the Reprogramming menu option is disabled (grayed-out), it means that you have not enabled or authorized this section in the tool. Refer to section 4-1 for more information on how to enable this section in the tool.
a.If the TCM/ECU password was changed from its defaulted values (i.e. eight zeros “00000000” or “Allison_”) the TCM/ECU Password dialog box displays.

The Reprogram TCM window is divided in different sections: • Input/Output Information—displays modifiable I/O information • Customer Modifiable Constants—displays modifiable CMCs • Active Package—displays current I/O active package • Password—displays current TCM/ECU password Reprogram TCM—command button used to reprogram the TCM after all the modifications are entered are: • Close—command button used to close the Reprogram TCM window. • Print—command button used to print a report that contains current Calibration, I/O, and CMC information. • Save—saves current configuration. This includes current I/O, CMC, Active Package and TCM Password selection. Enter a unique name for the saved configuration. This function is particularly useful when reprogramming multiple vehicles with the exact same calibration. • Select One—allows the user to select a previously saved configuration from the drop-down menu. • Delete—deletes a configuration selected from the Select One drop-down menu. • Load—loads a configuration from the Select One drop-down menu.
