Resolve Biosciences is enabling scientists to apply the power of Molecular Cartography™ technology to gain new insights based on the highest-resolution view of spatial biology. We operate two service laboratories: in Monheim am Rhein, Germany, and San Jose, CA, USA. We also began deploying commercial instruments at customer sites early in 2022.
Groundbreaking Technology Under development since 2016, our pioneering platform and fully automated workflow feature proprietary, highly multiplexed, single-molecule fluorescence in situ hybridisation technology, which offers full spatial context at subcellular resolution in three dimensions. Unlike other approaches, our Molecular Cartography platform provides the required sensitivity, specificity, and workflow convenience to elucidate the cell’s complex transcriptional landscape without destroying the tissue section or cell culture sample. This innovative approach was designed for the multiplexing needs of most scientists for basic, translational, and clinical research. The underlying technology is modular and flexible enough to incorporate the interrogation of DNA, protein, and metabolomic data layers in the future.
Advantages › Subcellular resolution – diffraction-limited, single molecule detection with a resolution of 300 nm › Highly multiplexed – each sample can be analysed by up to 100 different probe sets › Superior sensitivity – enables visualisation of millions of individual transcripts per sample › Transcriptomic reach – suitable for short transcripts down to 612 base pairs › Sample integrity – allows further interrogation using immunohistochemistry or fluorescent dye labelling
