L’export fa correre l’industria alimentare Exports keep the food industry running T
he second half of the current year is outlining brilliant conditions for the Italian food industry, with very few precedents in its recent history. The industry’s expansive impulse is entirely linked to the exceptional acceleration of exports, while other economic parameters confirm situations and trends already known. The
industry’s exports are in fact showing double-digit significant expansion rates that are driven by the marked acceleration of outlets such as the USA, China, South Korea and Russia, alongside the excellent stability of the EU market. In this context, the milling industry continues to show a certain ambivalence.

P
er la nostra industria alimentare la seconda metà dell’anno in corso sta delineando profili di brillantezza con pochi precedenti nella sua storia recente. La spinta espansiva del settore si lega tutta all’eccezionale accelerazione dell’export, mentre altri parametri congiunturali confermano situazioni e trend già noti. Le esportazioni del settore stanno infatti mostrando tassi espansivi importanti, a due cifre, trainati, a fianco dell’ottima tenuta del mercato Ue, dalle vistose performance di sbocchi come Usa, Cina, Corea del Sud e Russia.
Prospettive future La produzione alimentare potrebbe così chiudere l’anno attorno al +6,5%, mentre il fatturato, spinto anche dai prezzi alla produzione, potrebbe arrivare a quota 154 miliardi di euro, con un incremento del +8,0%. Le esportazioni di settore, a loro volta, potrebbero registrare, a consuntivo 2021, un passo superiore al 10% e raggiungere la quota di 40 miliardi
