CHAPTER OVERVIEW

Digital citizenship includes having rights and responsibilities when using the internet and digital technologies. Digital rights are freedoms that we have when we access the internet and digital responsibilities are duties about the way we behave online. Everyone who uses the internet part of the digital community and we should all look out for each other online. In this chapter students will develop an understanding of respectful use of digital media texts including concepts of copyright, fair use, plagiarism and intellectual property ownership.
