Community Weekends
Despite the pandemic and the restrictions on activities and gatherings, we can look back on a number of very successful community weekends, which following our school values, aim to bring students and staff closer together, through a diverse, inspiring and memorable activity programme. Trotz der Pandemie-Einschränkungen bei Aktivitäten und Versammlungen können wir auf eine Reihe sehr erfolgreicher Gemeinschaftswochenenden zurückblicken, die unseren Schulwerten folgend, darauf abzielen, Schülerschaft und Mitarbeitende durch ein vielfältiges, inspirierendes und unvergessliches Aktivitäten-Programm näher zusammenzubringen. Most recently, the graduating students from M6 and IB2 classes were able to dress up elegantly again to attend their last formal dinner in our beautiful New Dining Hall. Staff and students enjoyed a fine meal, grateful to be able to celebrate, despite the safe distancing in the arranged seating plan, a very special year and their time at the Lyceum. The House and Colour Captains’ leadership skills and enthusiasm deserve a mention, once again, since they organized an American Football tournament for all year groups, which marked the end of their captainship with the right combination of competitiveness and entertainment. Earlier in the year, the traditional House Colours team competed against each other on the ice-rink, with Teutonia winning the much awaited ice-hockey match.
