Input/Output Signals of the AML (AML-L B) System (GR-120N-1) CN 2 connector Pin No.
Signal names and functions
Name Relay output
Other control functions When the HOOK-IN operation is performed: When the following conditions are satisfied, this relay output turns OFF and the HOOK-IN control relay output RLY8 turns ON. (1) PTO switch is ON (I). (2) Boom lift or single top lift status is registered in the AML. (3) Boom is fully retracted. (*1) (4) Boom angle is 2°or less. (5) Overwind cutout disable switch is pressed. (*1): When the 2nd/3rd boom section full retraction detector switch contact is closed, the AML assumes that the boom is fully retracted.

RLY 1
OFF
When the boom reaches its elevation stroke end: When the boom is out of the boom angle range (–1.7° to 81.9°) where the pressure of the elevation cylinder on the extension and retraction side can be detected normally, the boom elevation stops. However, the operation does not stop while the boom is being stowed to the traveling configuration. When all the following conditions are satisfied, the AML assumes that the boom is in process of the stowage to the traveling configuration. (1) Boom angle is –1.7°or less. (2) Boom length is 5.4 m or less. (3) The swing position is within 10° in over-front area. If the pressure on the extension and retraction sides of the elevation cylinder cannot be normally detected and the moment ratio becomes 100% or more while the boom angle is between 81.9° and 83°, the automatic stop halting (boom lowering operation) due to overloading is cancelled. Jib fall prevention while the jib is being mounted or stowed When all the following conditions are satisfied, the boom extension stops. Jib (jib lock pin) is stowed; jib set pin is out of inserted condition; the boom angle is 75° or less. Upper boom angle restriction while the jib is being mounted or stowed The boom angle becomes 78° while the jib is mounted or stowed, the boom raising operation stops. When the jib tension rod buckling prevention activates (*1) While the jib set pin is inserted into the boom bottom surface, i.e. the jib is stowed, the jib tilt cylinder is not retracted even if jib tilt lowering is attempted. (*1): Only for machines with power-tilt jib
