Signal names and functions

Signal name: Automatic stop relay output

This relay contact turns OFF and stops crane operation when the crane is overloaded, the hook is overwound or the AML main unit is out of order. When the boom elevation stops, the slow stop function activates simultaneously. (The current controlled by the AML is output from the boom raising proportional valve output CNTL3P or the boom lowering proportional valve input CNTL4P to activate the slow stop function.) However, the slow stop function is not activated when the elevation slow stop/override switch is set to “OVERRIDE”.

Relay ON (DC24V): Normal operation is available. Relay OFF (DC0V): The crane operation is stopped. When the AML emergency switch is set to “Emergency” and the PTO switch is set to “OVERRIDE”, this relay output is shifted from OFF to ON and the AML automatic stop function is cancelled. The overwind cutout function is also cancelled by the diode circuit.
