Signal names and functions
Relay output Crane condition
Moment ratio 100%
The crane operation toward the critical side (main winch hoist-up, auxiliary winch hoist-up, boom extension, boom lowering or jib tilt lowering (*1)) is stopped.
(*1): Only for machines with power-tilt jib
While the boom lift with the jib mounted is performed, the relay output turns OFF when the moment ratio becomes as follows:
Moment ratio 90 %
While the jib set pin is out of the inserted condition, the AML assumes that the jib is mounted.
When the hook block is overwound:
The crane operation toward the critical side (main winch hoist-up, auxiliary winch hoist-up, boom extension, boom lowering or jib tilt lowering (*1)) is stopped.
(*1): Only for machines with power-tilt jib
When the overwind cutout disable switch is pressed in this state, the relay output is shifted from OFF to ON and the overwind cutout function is cancelled.
The crane operations except boom swing exceed the limit while the working range limit is registered.
Crane operations beyond the limit are stopped.
Failure in the AML unit.
All the crane operations except the boom swing are stopped. Relay output Other control functions
When the moment is abnormal
When the actual load value calculated in the AML becomes negative, the crane operation toward the critical side (main winch hoist-up, auxiliary winch hoist-up, boom extension, boom lowering or jib tilt lowering (*1)) is stopped. However, the operation does not stop while the boom is being stowed to the traveling configuration.
When all the following conditions are satisfied, the AML assumes that the boom is in process of the stowage to the traveling configuration.
(1) Boom angle is 2°or less. (*2)
Off
(2) Boom length is 5.4 m or less.
(3) The swing position is within 10° in over-front area.
(*1): For machines with power-tilt jib only
(*2): For machines up to FD0126, the boom angle is –1.7° or less
