45 SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL If a SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL WARNING is PRESENT, it cannot be reset. The warning is PRESENT because the countdown timer has reached zero. To clear the warning, the timer must be reset, rather than the event. When the timer is reset, it returns to the programmed interval (default is 180 calendar days or 500 engine hours). This timer must be reset from the display; it cannot be reset by using the Service Tool alone.
TO RESET THIS TIMER: Start by pressing ENGINE OVERVIEW
Accessible by pressing the ENGINE OVERVIEW shortcut key which is just below the display, on the right: see 0.

until you reach SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL
screen The security level required is level 3 but, the required security level can be changed by using the Service Tool. On the Service Tool, enter the Configuration screen, and select the group on the left called SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL. The third setpoint in that block is: Change that to a lower level.
PASSWORD LEVEL REQUIRED TO RESET SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL.
To RESET the service interval Press ENTER KEY
Then the service maintenance interval can be reset from the display. Once at this screen, RESET SERV INTVL is highlighted Going back into the event log should show that the SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL WARNING has become INACTIVE. CAUTION: Be sure to change the password level (using the Service Tool) back to LEVEL 3 after the reset, to prevent inadvertently resetting the timer at other times!
