Located on the left-hand side of the machine, the battery master switch is used to disconnect the battery completely from the electrical system.

Tools required - Two 13 mm (1/2 inch) wrench for hexagonal head bolts To gain access to the battery, remove the retaining bolts (3 on top cover, 2 on front and 2 securing step to fender) and remove the cover. IMPORTANT : Before carrying out any service work on the battery, see “Battery” in the “Electrical system” section. CP99E005
