Kalina Harrison
’13 Kalina Harrison is an Atlanta native who now resides in Philadelphia, Pa. She graduated from Claflin University, where she was a member of the Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College, a television station manager for the Mass Communications department, recipient of the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas scholarship, and a proud member of the Gamma Chi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

She also partnered with another Claflinite, Tamuka Martin, to launch a virtual study abroad program connecting students from Philadelphia with counterparts in Zimbabwe to diversify each child.

Harrison has self-published two books and advocates for the homeless, transient community to help them secure housing and access to whole foods.
