Dr. Paul Singleton II ’14

Dr. Paul Singleton II is a passionate advocate for men's mental health and cognitive wellbeing. He holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and supervision, focusing on educational equity and social justice from the University of Connecticut. Currently, he serves as the Director of the LEAP (Learning & Engagement at the Potomac School) Program, a dedicated school counselor, and a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) coordinator at The Potomac School in McLean, Virginia.

Dr. Singleton's research interests are centered around African-American male academic achievement, social and emotional well-being, and college & career readiness. With a wealth of educational experiences, he has actively contributed to underserved communities and schools, particularly in low-income, culturally diverse settings. His commitment to empowering individuals and fostering equity has made a significant impact on the lives of the students and families he serves. Dr. Singleton's multifaceted roles demonstrate his dedication to enhancing educational experiences and promoting holistic well-being among his students.
