Kalina Harrison

Kalina Harrison is an Atlanta native who now resides in Philadelphia, Pa. She graduated from Claflin University, where she was a member of the Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College, a television station manager for the Mass Communications department, recipient of the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas scholarship, and a proud member of the Gamma Chi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

She also partnered with another Claflinite, Tamuka Martin, to launch a virtual study abroad program connecting students from Philadelphia with counterparts in Zimbabwe to diversify each child.

Harrison has self-published two books and advocates for the homeless, transient community to help them secure housing and access to whole foods.

Harrison travels around the world, making freshsqueezed juice and hosting community events that have a positive impact.
