Year Four Blue Year 4
I
t was my first day at Trinity. The bell rang and I walked into class. A bolt of new faces flashed into my mind. We sat down and our teacher said, “Hi, My name is Mrs Messer and I’m pregnant.” I raised my hand and said, “Hey, my mum is pregnant too!” On the third day she announced Mr Matt Hamer we were doing ‘Pirates and Year 4 Blue Explorers’ as our class theme. “Cool,” I thought. I remember every Friday we would watch BTN and then write down our favourite part. On Fridays we also had Bible Stories and talked about our Quality Gifts. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays we did my favourite subject, Maths. Andrew Bottega In Term Two we had a teacher called Miss Totaro. In this term I remember going to the Schoenstatt Shrine to prepare for our First Holy Communion which was in Term Three. At the Shrine we made our candle and went in the Chapel that was at the Shrine. There we had a taste of the bread (not the real stuff). That term we also had to come up with a way to get the Tasmanian miners out of the cave. We were allowed to make it unrealistic but not too silly.
Term Three was great because our class got a new teacher called Mr Hamer. Mr Hamer gave us extra sport and games. But I enjoyed the Holy Communion the most because we had our first taste of the bread and our families were there to see us; we all felt so proud. The class had our first assignment for Term Three, but this one was weird, it was sort of … um … fun. Call me crazy, but this one was fun! We found out a lot about animals and we all enjoyed the term. Richard Giorgi In Term Four we did some very exciting things. For example we made a model of Earth and the Sun, we learnt about the Solar System, and we created our own dinosaurs. We made a Pie for Beasts and wrote Acrostic poems. We also wrote stories about Hercules. I think that this term was very enjoyable and best of all we were getting close to Christmas. Isaac Ward
