Year 6
Another Year has flown by. Even the boys have said this which means they must love school dearly! We also farewelled two boys from our class, Eamonn McDermott and his family returned to Ireland at the end of Term One and Daniel
Mr Gordon Dean Richards and his family went Year 6 Green to Queensland in Term Three. Both boys were missed by their peers as they all started at Trinity in Year 4. It has been a very hectic year and the boys have had many varied learning experiences as is best summed up by the boys themselves.
Mr Gordon Dean
Student Reports
This year in Six Green has been fun. We had two interesting excursions, one to Fremantle Prison and the second to Parliament House. When we went to Fremantle we also had lunch at Kailis Restaurant. I have learnt a lot from Mr Dean who is a pretty cool teacher.
Jeremy Ryan
I enjoyed Year 6 because I have many friends and also was amused by Mr Dean’s funny manner. The classes were enjoyable, mostly because we learnt as well as having fun. Our “Camping Day” organised by our pre-service teacher, Ms Nelligan was terrific. She also made special t-shirts for us.
John Paul Mondelo
This year was great fun. We faced a lot of challenges which is good to get us prepared for Year 7. Sport was great! My favourite day was when we went to Parliament House. Although two of my friends went away to different cities, it was a fantastic year.
Sean Grogan
When we went to Parliament House, we had a debate in the Lower House which was fun. This has been one of the best years at Trinity.
Blair Stroud
I enjoyed my year in Year 6 being in Mr Dean’s class. Mr Chitty also took us for Science and we did lots of experiments which was terrific.
Eddison Baroni
This year was a bit challenging for all of us with the sport and classroom work. My favourite subjects were spelling, maths and sport. I enjoyed this year.
James Toncich
I have really enjoyed this year in Six Green with all the fun activities we did with our teachers Mr Dean and Mr Chitty. It has been a great year.
Louis Pesce
In Term Four we had a ‘Camping Day’. We played carry the marshmallow on a straw, searched for treasure in a treasure hunt, told campfire stories and enjoyed many other fun activities. We had hotdogs for lunch. The day was extra special because we had no school work.
