Bott has been very patient and has helped us to improve our harmony. To reward us for all our hard work, Ms Bott and Mr Hackett decided to take us bowling. This was really fun and was (we all thought) very well deserved by all, including Ms Bott who had run herself ragged to help us prepare for all our performances. Ms Bott and Mr Campana are the biggest helpers in choir and the most vital people too. Without Mr Campana we would not have had any musical accompaniment and without Ms Bott we wouldn't have anyone to conduct us!
2002 was a very busy year for the Choral groups. We had five performances to do so we had to do extensive practice. First up was the Edmund Rice Bicentennial Mass. We had to stand up at the Entertainment Centre for about 3 hours, but all in all it was very enjoyable. Also in Term 1, we performed in Gibney Hall for the Music Assembly. We then had the biggest one, the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. This took a lot of extra practice, even going through the whole of lunchtime! But in the end, it all paid off. We got all of the categories outstanding, excellent, and very good. This year we have tried to perfect our harmony skills. Ms
