2 X TECHNICAL OFFICERS - MECHANICAL • Permanent – Fulltime positions • ASX Top 50 Leading Energy Infrastructure Company • Cobar, NSW

THE ROLE We now have exciting opportunities available for Technical Officers - Mechanical, to join our busy Operational and Maintenance team. These positions will be based in Cobar and are Permanent - Fulltime roles within our organisation. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Cobar, you will work as an integral member of this highly skilled and multidisciplinary team of professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Implement routine and unscheduled maintenance on pipeline system, Compressor Stations and Meter Pressure Reduction facilities, scraper stations and laterals and associated plant • Undertake technical analysis and evaluations on plant performance diagnosing solutions to reoccurring problems, recommending modifications and improvements on plant performance • Provide reliable data, plant histories and reports for analysis and review providing effective documentation for APA's programmed and corrective maintenance programs • Develop and maintain effective, supportive and reliable communication, professional working relationships with field and office based colleagues • Manage the onsite Permit to Work System in accordance with APA procedures

ABOUT YOU • Work experience in heavy industry desirable • Mechanical trade qualification with experience in transmission gas pipelines is preferred • A high degree of self motivation • Ability to work unsupervised • Good computer literacy skills

Extra qualities we seek • Knowledge of Gas Transmission /Distribution Systems advantageous
