British dessert competition Hi there, In my school there is a competition of British desserts every year for a special day called Santo Tomas and many people participate in it. This year more than 125 desserts were presented by students and I presented a chocolate cake with three more friends. We made a beautiful cake in Arturo's house and then we took it to school and let the judges taste it. There were a lot of beautiful desserts with a very good presentation and very well worked While the desserts were being tested, me and my group went to do other activities at the school. After sometime the results were ready and the teachers said the first positions. Our dessert was in third place! So we are going to have a prize of 30€ and the most important thing, half point more in the English mark, this is very important for me because my mark the last term wasn't good and it is perfect for this one. I hope you found this information very interesting! Pablo Cutillas Florido 3A The cake contest is held every year on 24th January in the Cañada de las Eras high school. take photos of the process for our presentation for the teacher. The next day we had to bring the cake to the high school to become the winners. When we arrived to the staff room we had to put a label with a number in the cake and then we wrote in the teacher´s list our names with the same number. Finally we sent an email to our English teacher with our presentation in power point. Claudia Peñaranda 3º A
