or the past few weeks the purple corridor has been working hard creating beautiful art for Christmas. We've created some really cool Christmas

light art using chalk and stencils as well as following a really cool drawing tutorial for our village Christmas scene. We then created a beautiful collaborative Christmas tree with all the other 6th classes, each classes made different designs and patterns and we combined these to make our Christmas.

n December all primary schools in Ireland introduced mask wearing from 3rd to 6th class, including my school Midleton CBS. At first it was kind of weird to be wearing masks but now we are used to it. Luckily we don’t have to wear them on yard and during lunch time when we are eating. I really don’t mind it now and I think my class don’t mind as well. To me masks have upsides and down sides. The upside we keep each other safe, the down side it can be itchy!

or the last 5 weeks Kevin from munster rugby has been calling to the school on Thursdays to train all the boys from 4th, 5th and 6th in rugby. Training has been so much fun we have learned all the fundamentals of rugby such as running, passing, catching and evasion. We played loads of really fun small sided games and week on week as our skills CBS Exclusive Issue 2 2020/21

developed we started to learn the rules of rugby. This allowed us to expand on our skill set and play games against each other. We have loved the sessions with Kevin and hope he will come back to the school again soon.
