Hydraulic tank drain WARNING Chemical hazard! When handling fuel, lubricants, and other service chemicals, follow the manufacturer's instructions. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as instructed. Do not smoke or use open flame. Collect fluids in proper containers. Obey all local and environmental regulations when disposing of chemicals. 23. Locate the drain valve at the bottom of the hydraulic tank, on the rear right-hand side of the machine. Place a suitable container for waste oil under the drain valve. 24. Unscrew the protective cap from the drain valve. Screw on a suitable drain hose. The valve opens and the hydraulic oil drains away. 25. After the hydraulic oil has drained away, unscrew the drain hose; the valve closes automatically. Screw the protective cap back in place.
