EXHAUST SYSTEM GENERAL DESCRIPTION The exhaust system is designed to be used in a hazardous zone of an underground coal mine. The system comprises of a exhaust manifold, turbocharger, downpipe/purifier, exhaust conditioner, exhaust flame trap and outlet pipe. The surface temperature of the system is controlled by water jacketed components. While the exhaust gas temperature is controlled via a wet bath type exhaust conditioner.
