Rapid Attach Back Plate (RAS) Assembly Rear Frame

RAPID ATTACH BACK PLATE (RAS) ASSEMBLY

The Rapid Attach Back Plate facilitates attachment of working equipment such as materials bucket, load carrying forks, shield trailers etc. The attachment hooks over the top of the RAS back plate are locked in position with a cylinder actuated locking tongue. The locking tongue has a visual indicator to ensure proper engagement.

Care and Maintenance

Daily:

1. Visually inspect RAS back plate for any structural damage. 2. Check the operation of the RAS locking tongue to ensure full engagement. 3. Verify the RAS lock tongue indicator is functional.

Servicing

No routine servicing is required on the RAS back plate other than visual inspection for structural integrity, hydraulic operation and greasing outlined in this Section.
