STEERING CONTROL VALVE

The orbital steering valve pilots the direction of flow of oil to and from the steering cylinders through a hydraulic DCV. This is achieved at a metered rate and is unaffected by pump flow. The steering DCV is fitted with internal reliefs for the cylinder in the event of an excessive external force.

No routine servicing is required on the steering control valve assembly other than routine checking for the presence of oil leaks.
