WARNING: Connecting auxiliary cables wrongly or short-circuiting batteries terminals can cause an accident. Connect auxiliary starting cables as per the following instructions.
Make sure that the voltage of the booster batteries is the same as that of the machine system (24 volts).
TRIM THIS EDGE
1.
Remove the protective plate.
2.
Remove the terminal covers.
3.
Connect the positive (+) cable to the positive (+) terminal on the first machine battery.
4.
Connect the negative (-) cable to the negative (-) terminal on the second machine battery.
5.
Start the engine.
6.
Remove the booster battery negative (-) cable and then the positive (+) cable.
7.
Install the terminal covers.
8.
Install the protective plate.

WARNING: Whenever carrying out a welding operation on the machine, as authorized by the manufacturer and in accordance with his instructions, or making repairs to the electrical system, disconnect the alternator B+ and D+ wires. Be sure to identify the wires correctly when reconnecting.
IMPORTANT: Do not use a steam cleaning apparatus or cleaning solvent to clean the alternator. Have the alternator checked by your CASE Dealer. NOTE: Make sure the tag covers are correctly in place.
